Evan and family

Last weekend I got to do my first photo shoot with my new lens. The longer zoom was very handy. Evan’s parents asked me to take some more pictures for them since Evan’s now 7 months. He did a great job and was full of adorable grins.

My birthday was last month, which became the perfect excuse for me to buy a new lens for my digital camera. I have been wanting one for a long time but I could never decide what I wanted or how much I was willing to spend. I ended up with a 17-85mm lens, which gives me a lot more range than my original kit lens. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. Here are the flowers Sean got me for my birthday.
