December 24, 2006Christmas Time in the Suburbs
December 20, 2006I realized the other day that this will probably be my last Christmas in the house I’ve lived in my entire life. My parents are building a new house which should be done some time this summer. I’m very excited, but a little sad at the same time. Home has always been 718 Baltic Ln for me and it’s hard to imagine anywhere else being home. I know, I know, home is not so much the building as the people who live there, but it’s hard to seperate the two when a place is assosiated with so many memories. So, this Christmas I’m feeling a little nostalgic.
Photo Booth
December 15, 2006It never ceases to amaze me how much fun Photo Booth can be. It’s an ideal procrastination tool when writing papers, you can drag and drop a picture of your expression when your i chatting, and little kids love it. When I took my computer with me to visit my cousins, the four of them spent an hour taking pictures of themselves and making faces at the screen. I had to pry it away from them. I have never actually used the camera in my computer for video chatting, but for the Photo Booth aspect alone, it is an ingenious idea. I’m not sure what my fascination with Photo Booth says about my vanity, but that’s another issue all together.

Finals…
December 12, 2006I’m almost done, almost done. After finals are over, so too will my last real semester of college. Next semester will be student teaching and seminars, but no more finals. I’m happy about this I guess, but a little nervous about becoming one more semester closer to having to become grownup’ish.
New Beginings
December 10, 2006So I’ve been trying to build a new web page and it’s taking me longer than I had hoped. So in the mean time I’m going to blog. Hopefully I’ll keep it up, and even use it for photos and what not after my other page is up and running.
